I am running the “Race for the Cure”, in loving memory of Annette Pickering Kramer(My Auntie) and Debbie Marie Gallegos(my boyfriend’s mom).
I’ve ran it 2 times now and LOVE the feeling of crossing the finish line. It’s so emotional and very touching.
Today, I was researching some training for a half marathon and full marathon. Well, i’m only doing the 5k in the “Race for the Cure”, but i’m beginning to think I want to push forth and do the full 26.2 mile marathon next year.
I have to stay focused, strong, committed, and positive. I will succeed.
I’m running it with you guys this year! I’m way excited about it and have been training. I hope it gets easier…

it is SO ironic that I read this post about race for the cure, because I just posted my fundraising site on my blog! that is so cool! i am runnin gin the 5k too! I will also be registering in the twin cities marathon ( i think reg opens thursday) and this saturday i am running in a local 25k race (ready or not oy). but it is so awesome to hear that you are thinking abuot marathons and half marathonS!!!! it would be great to be support for one another
